Optimal 's MMA Handicapper Bio

What's up guys. I'm a UK-based capper with a passion for all things MMA.

My background is in sports betting. Over the last 5 years i've worked for several online books with experience in promotions, trading and player analysis.

In my spare time, i practice BJJ at my local Gracie Barra school, hence i love grappling heavy bouts in MMA.

I spend hours each week breaking down and studying fights. One of my core values in betting is "i'll believe it when i see it". Meaning I never like to place bets on assumptions.
E.g. "their Takedown defense was poor last time out so they must have been working on it non-stop this camp".

Steady, consistent profit is the goal. No reckless betting, no inflated unit sizing. Just sensible bankroll management with long term profit the aim.

On an average week I easily spend 30-35 hours taping & researching fights. $10 for my tips per card I feel is a super fair price and great value for money.
