Story: I've been betting on UFC since COVID struck the world in 2020. It was one of the only sports still holding it down. My first card I watched during that time was a UFC on ESPN bout between Walt Harris & Alistair Overeem. I recall all week that Harris was going to roll through Overeem. The pre hype, the narrative of fighting for his daughter, then boom, Overeem finishes Harris in Round 2. I loved seeing how anything can happen in this sport and I've been a fan ever since.
I was a casual before that, watching PPV's with friends whenever McGregor or Rousey would fight, but now, I haven't missed a card since May 16th in 2020. |
